The Succession Conversation.
A four-part webinar series on the conversations that have to happen before the wealth transfers. One psychotherapist. One care specialist. One chartered tax adviser. One private-client solicitor.
Most succession plans don't fail in the structure. They stall before that — in the conversation that never happens.
Trusts are drafted. LPAs are signed. Pensions are nominated. And yet, the adviser knows the bit that still hasn't happened: the conversation in which the family actually talks about what comes next.
That gap is what we're addressing. From 6 April 2027, pensions will be brought inside the Inheritance Tax estate — the single largest change to adviser–client conversations in a decade. The advisers who navigate the technical detail and the human side will be the ones clients lean on.
The technical ground is shifting.
Pensions enter the IHT estate.
The single largest change to adviser–client conversations in a decade. Family discussions about death benefits stop being theoretical.
Nil-rate band held to 2030/31.
Fiscal drag is pulling more estates above the threshold every year. More clients in the conversation; fewer thresholds to spend.
Adviser interest in BR-qualifying investments.
VCT, EIS and Business Relief are returning to the centre of estate planning. Capital at risk; reliefs depend on individual circumstances.

Things advisers ask.
Is this CPD recognised by my professional body?+
The series is structured CPD and is suitable for self-certification under the FCA's TC sourcebook and the CPD schemes of the CII, PFS, and CISI. You'll receive a certificate within five working days of each session you attend (live or on replay).
Can I register for just one or two sessions?+
Yes — each episode stands alone. The pick-list above lets you choose any combination. We'll only send joining links for the sessions you select.
What happens if I can't attend live?+
Register anyway. We'll email the replay link within 24 hours of each session, and you'll have 90 days of on-demand access. Self-cert CPD applies to replay viewing too.
Will products be promoted on the webinars?+
No. The series is editorial — guest speakers in their own areas of practice, not PXN product promotion. Where Business Relief, VCT or EIS are mentioned technically, the speaker will note that capital is at risk and tax reliefs depend on individual circumstances.
Who is PXN Investments?+
PXN Investments is the merged-entity name for Praetura Ventures and Par Equity, two specialist UK tax-efficient alternative-investment managers. We work with UK financial advisers on VCT, EIS, Business Relief and Natural Capital strategies, with a strong "Made for the North, in the North" positioning.
